A while ago, Francesca was asked by Optician Magazine to write a column about her career and some of the obstacles she has come up against in her optical career.
We had almost forgotten about it what with our amazing trip Italy, but we got back to Llanishen yesterday and the magazine was waiting for us in our postbox.
We’re very proud of Francesca. She has had a long and very successful career so far, she is testament to just how important non registered people can be to a practice and outdated attitudes towards those who choose a career in optics but don’t wish to be opticians themselves need to change.
