Katie is the newest addition to our team and heads up the new hearing clinic that we run on Wednesdays at our Llanishen practice.
Katie became a qualified Audiologist after completing her BSc in Healthcare Science (Audiology) at Swansea University. Her degree included 52 weeks of clinical placements across seven NHS audiology departments in Wales, giving her a well-rounded and hands-on start to her career. While at university, she also earned a qualification in mentorship and leadership.
Katie come to us through the The Hearing Care Partnership which attracted her with its patient-centred approach, gold-standard testing and fitting methods, and access to the latest hearing aid technology. Katie feels that this combination allows her to deliver the very best outcomes for her patients and what she enjoys most about audiology is helping people improve their quality of life through better hearing, whilst raising awareness of hearing health within the local community.
Outside of her work, Katie is an animal lover who has volunteered with the RSPCA and Cats Protection. She enjoys spending time with her dog, relaxing with crafts like crochet and cross stitch, and catching up with friends.
