We are proud to say that we have been working with Marie Curie UK to pledge to make Pearce & Blackmore Opticians into a Dementia Friendly practice.
Today we completed our training and we have pledged to do all we can to make our services accessible to, and promote the independence of, people with dementia – whilst also giving support to any carers and family.
Clare and I have both personally become dementia friends too and we look forward to finishing our pledge and receiving our certificate!
