Blinx are small, rubber charms that push onto the sides of frames so children can customise their glasses. They have proved very popular with our younger patients.
At just £2.00 per charm, it is a very low cost way for parents to keep their children interested and enthusiastic about their spectacles and therefore improve compliance with wearing them.
There are currently 20 different designs in the range – suitable for boys and girls. There are even little bands that children can wear as bracelets and pop the charms on to as well.
Blinx can change a plain pair of frames into a themed pair, which is ideal if your little one has a particular interest or passion.
Currently the designs include football, butterfly, princess castle, fairy, princess crown, heart, sports car, spider web, two different dinosaurs, a footballer in red, a footballer in blue, a pink flower, a purple flower, a bluebird, a spaceship, a teddy bear, rainbow, lego brick and a lion.
