As most of you know, my brother Craig died unexpectedly on November 6th. He was only 31, so losing him has been an awful shock for my family that we will struggle to recover from.
I have mostly been away from the practice since we first found out Craig was in a serious condition on November 4th. As such, Clare has been covering for me so that the practice can stay open and you may have noticed her lovely girls giving a helping hand here and there!
I have been there now and again, but there have had to be some changes to our opening hours and we have tried very hard to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
I will be at the practice later on today for late clinic and I just wanted to thank all of you for your patience and compassion at this tough time. Also, thank you to everyone who has popped in to offer condolences, and thank you for my cards, chocolates and flowers.
I will be back to work part time starting next week, and hopefully full time the week beginning 7th December. This lovely picture of my brother with my children, taken in 2013 is now on my desk to keep me company.
